AuditoriumArte

Spazio espositivo di 200 mq

AuditoriumArte, the space dedicated to exhibitions in the Auditorium Parco della Musica of Rome, is under the platform roof and the SparTito Restaurant. It has two twin halls of 100 square meters each, having different and complementary functions: one internal with blind walls, the other one external with large windows overlooking the outside.

This multifunctional area has hosted exhibitions since the Auditorium opening in December 2002. Through these years, great “little” initiatives have taken place here: photo exhibitions, shows on the 20th-century avant-gardes, especially on Futurism, on Roman artists from the 1950s and 1960s and the fluxus movement. It boosts an accurate artistic program with a watchful eye on the usual activity of the Fondazione Musica per Roma: in these latest years it has hosted the repeating exhibition on sound One Space / One Sound; exhibitions on emerging artists; artistic productions of contemporary artists linked to different festivals taking place at the Auditorium, like Libri Come, Science Festival, Flamenco, Tango, etc.
