In 1637 Pierre de Fermat proved that it is impossible to find whole numbers as a4 + b4 = c4, and imagined the same thing for any whole number other than 2. He was right but it took more than 350 years before Andrew Wiles proved that. This thousand-year old story is a real epic tale. In this debate we will tell some anecdotes and backgrounds.
