Aurora Borealis

MOSTRA FOTOGRAFICA

from Sun 10 Feb to Tue 26 Feb | Porticato Esterno
To experience the unbelievable colours that move across the Arctic sky is on many travellers’ bucket list. Northern Norway, in the so called auroral oval, is one of the best places in the world to see the Aurora Borealis. This is the main reason why thousands of people from all over the world, including Italians, travel to Norway during the winter season.
The lights come at night when the sky is dark, between late September and late March. It’s like a celestial ballet of light dancing across the night sky, with a colour palette (green, blue, pink, violet).
Few places on earth offer more ways to witness the aurora borealis than Norway. There you can take part in adventurous excursion of Aurora hunting with dog sledding, snowmobiles or showshoes. But you can also enjoy the Northern Lights on board of Hurtigruten or from one of the many quirky hotels in the wild Arctic nature.
